He was born on May 13, 1955 in Kazincbarcika, into a family of fourteen. Since childhood he had an affinity to painting, but his enviroment did not allow him to develop his artistic skills. "In the socialist regime a Romani person could not be smart, could not be talented, could not be anybody." He was raised in a correctional institution and then graduated from an agricultural college.
He was an active member of the underground scene in Budapest from the 1980's where he became close friends with fellow artist Dóka A.KÓD (Jimmy), but also toured with several musicians and bands including A.M.D., Leukémia and Trottel. He experimented with several mediums and genres of expression, he took part in avant-garde perfomances, or created installations from found objects. The cult nightclub 'Fekete Lyuk' (Black Hole) gave regurarly space to his art.
At the start of his artistic career, he mainly focused on landscapes and still life and from the 80's took a turn towards surrealism, being influenced greatly by Salvador Dali and Hieronymus Bosch.
Currently his main themes are religious stories interpreted in his own, surrealist way as well as works dealing with difficult past traumas and internal conflicts.
He has a very characteristic use of color, mainly prefering warm tones and shades of brown. He rarely uses any other colors, in wich case he typically uses a monchrome palette (Blue landscapes series).
In the exhibition 'Impressions of my mind that has travelled the world: Mantras of the Ganga' there is a focus of his latest works, the themes of wich range from abstracted intimate traumas to the depiction of spiritual stories, paying tribute to the surrealist masters who have had the greatest influences on him.
